cant change game graphics

all of the sudden the game looks like ♥♥♥♥ and even if i change the settings nothing happens

Do you mean like some textures are blurry? I have mine set to Epic for instance and statues, city floors, rocks all appear at a super low and blurry texture while everything else looks fine.

no its like everything looks like clay, and blurry. with no textures. its like its not loading anything.

So strange, I wonder if our issues are connected? Inventory looks good, grass and bushes look good as do water and animals but characters, trees, rocks, city ground all look very very potato (and I know from vids they don't normally look that way)

I also have this glitch, and it's getting annoying. Like the game forgets where the textures are or something.

Could be related to a graphics setting in your game or video card settings. Try setting video card opts to application controlled. And tell me more about your cpu specs

Got a 1080 and a i7 6700k myself, I have fiddled with all settings to no avail. Was on Medium when I first launched it and changed it all to epic and that had no effect at all unfortunately

Quit the game. Open GameUse Setting.ini, set TextureQuality=2 or Texture Quality=3, (2=high, 3=epic), launch the game, don`t touch settings menu. All textures shall load now.

Edit: Unfortunately for me, mine already says TextureQuality=3 in the GameUserSettings.ini. It's kinda like that same thing in ARK where far off stuff looks dreadful and bad textured til you get closer and it sharpens and looks good, only this never looks good.
