How can I go back to the default controls when the A key is the only key that will do anything in this game I can start the game but thats all. I plady the game one time on my Xbox control when i frist got it but now it will not do anythig, mayby I changed the controls by mistake. Can someone please tell me how I can make the game controls work again or go back to the defaults. Thanks

Yes my controller doesn't work too, maybe they will put a patch soon

I got it to work. It's pretty hard though. It's not like you just choose controller and it works. You have to go to controller then 1st player then map your own buttons, and if you want to change it or you forgot what buttons you picked the keyboard doesn't work anymore and let you fix it. There is no setting it back to defaults to do it over. You have to delete your game and reinstall it and start over.

Koolkat you beat me to it, yes in game there's controller settings and you map each button how you want, this way its customised to your liking. if you do want to reset the controls you can do so in same menu and if you forget your configuration you can check back at same screen for reference, or can delete the cfg file in save folder and will be back to default keyboard controls. Hope that helps (im also suggesting using a program like Xpadder if people still struggle as that can map keyboard buttons to controllers)

Gamepad Not Recognized!

The keyboard works, but in the options menu it says Gamepad Enabled. I'm using a 360 controller. Do I need a xbox one? Is anyone having this issue?

You need to go into the controls and manually tell it what each direction and button is for. It doesn't auto set any controls, just detects that you have a pad.

As Frankbrodie said, you can configure the default keys in game menu. Main menu has a control options sub menu. Here you can turn gamepad on and off and gamepad buttons will need to be configured in this menu (Controllers do not auto configure.)

Hello,

first i want i to say i really love this game, so i'm not here to do bad critics and second english is no my native language so excuse me if my english is weird.

I have played a few before the patch and a little bit after (i love the game but i just bought it and i have don't have a lot of free time...and i prefer to wait after my son sleep to play it)

-since the new patch my arcade stick mortal kombat xbox360 is not recognised anymore
-My xbox360 pad is recognised but when press the right analogic direction, the menu go back even if in the button assignation i have put a different button for right and back. In game i don't have direction problem.

Hmm. Have you seen my game manual/ guide here on steam ? I think if you go to where the game is saved on your computer there will be sub folders one will be called save. Delete the files in there and try to config your joystick again. Alternatively there are 3rd party apps like xpadder which allow you to assign keyboard keys to controllers. Let me know how it all goes

thank you for the quick answer, i erase the file inside the save folder and the problem with the xbox360 pad is fix, but the arcade stick is not recognise.

the game is totally playable with pad, no bug. ^^

may be your arcade stick- I have the game setup in a bartop arcade and a fullsize arcade so know it works with joysticks, and tested with gamepads. Maybe try xpadder and see if that helps at all

Keyboard isn't completely responding + Screen size?

My keyboard was how I started playing this game; but after the recent update, I can only select whatever the menu has highlighted from the start. I can't move to the other options on any of the main menus. I don't know about in-game. On a possibly unrelated note, the game starts in a small window in the center of my monitor. It's so small I can't even click on the window; I have worked around this with alt-enter. Right now though; the keyboard is the main issue for me. Anyone got anything? (I already verified, deleted the cfg file... Most of the basic solutions.)

sounds like your save file didn't delete and is corrupted from update. go to where your game is saved on your computer and there should be a sub folder called saves, delete ALL the files there.

example for me this is kept in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bad ass babes\Saves

so delete all files and sub folders etc from that saves folder
