Except I was able to rebind my controller and keyb, I don't know what you're talking about, you're making ♥♥♥♥ up I believe, just to troll.

I am having issues with 1P Pad config. First, I cannot move with keyboard settings while gamepad is inserted. Second, when I am in the config screen and I plug in the gamepad, the game automatically assigns up and down with mystery buttons. I have used both PS4 controller and XBox One controller. The results are always the same whether I uninstall/reinstall, restart computer, delete configuration files.

I was trying to program the Dualshock 4 to the game and now the joypad controls are all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up with a capital F. So now I can't rebind or nothing at the title screen :(

I had the same problem, i got InputMapper and PS4 controller for P1 which works fine with the game, and Xone controller for P2. For P2 it always automapped the UP direction. I got it to work but with some luck (i think?) just by smashing random buttons on the mappins for quite a while and trying config again and again until one time it just let me remap them all. Guess its something to do what you map on the up and down controls, but its reassuring to know its possible to make it work.

its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. maybe on the consoles this ♥♥♥♥ is acceptable but this is the pc. either learn how to code properly or go home. we didnt tolerate it back in 1997 and we sure as ♥♥♥♥ arent going to tolerate it now.

street fighter 5 doesnt have it. do don pachi dont have it. wtf japan. you guys used to be cool and a driving force behind innovation in the game industry. now the usa is far superior in every respect. and im canadian so its not like I have any bias im saying this objectively as far as what companies make better games. sorry

It was probably developed for PS4 and ported over to PC and bugs happened they really should patch it and they might it's barely a week old, Japanese devs don't QA before release, we have to see of they patch, I have 1 game pad and it binds just fine.

lets hope so because they have a style and a flare that lately I have been unable to appreciate because of stuff like this. japan has great platformers on the consoles and beautiful rpgs and usa are doing amazing things with strategy and pc rpg / action. it was almost impossible to keep up. lets hope this kind of thing is just a temporary setback. I mean re7 has been doing pretty good so thats a start I guess... still though... I mean I dont mean to sound like an ass and im speaking only in broad terms but I can only go by what Ive been playing and what I have seen in the biz. I was really looking forward to this one too.

Confirmed working in Story, 2P Duel and Tower mode without issues. Try that above. Otherwise, maybe your system might have driver issues? Hard to say, but hopefully this helps.

I won't lie, it was really bad. I actually had to uninstall and reinstall the game because I confused myself remapping the controls the first time.

Map with Steam controller then switch to something else if you want. That's what worked for me.
