What do you mean, your back is to everyone? What store did you purchase the game?
We can add turing to the game. We added it to the PSVR version of the game. You aren't the first person to ask for it for the PC version, some Rift players also would like to have turing.
Regarding "facing away"..... When you did the setup for SteamVR and it asked you to point towards the PC did you do it? Is your PC in the opposite direction from where you want to face?
What controls would you prefer to turn?
Many of the VR games I've played default your perspective away from the PC (configured during room setup). Titles like Gorn, Beat Saber and Job Simulator do this already, to avoid any accidental collisions with your monitor. Having the game default towards your monitor has been frustrating, as my Vive headset cables that are normally behind me in other games are in front of me in Drunkn Bar Fight.
An ability to rotate your character would be appreciated, though simply reversing the default direction to the de-facto standard "away from your monitor / PC" would be a simple fix.
