Any type of local multiplayer mode?
I had some friends over when I got this gaming thinking it had local multiplayer because it said it on the store page but I don't think there is. Correct me if I'm wrong but if there isn't I feel like some way for the person sitting at the PC to interact a little more would be cool.

Cool game though, I really thought this was one of those VR games I would dread buying.

We didn't think about using the PC keyboard....... but that is a good idea. What would you like to do with it? Please give us some good ideas! We are trying to improve the social experience.

We are currently working on a Android and IOS app that can be used with Google Cardboard and Samsung GearVR to that friends can enter the VR world with you. There are certain commands the app will pick up and they will affect the game (eg: "Get up", "Drinks on me", etc)

We also want to use the app to take pictures of faces to import into the game.

BTW, did you have fun playing?

I like the game a lot, but personally I don't really find local multiplayer that important. Taking terms and having a laugh is enough for me. I would love some online multiplayer.

Maybe an app on a smartphone that lets you send fighters to the VR player, or some kind of other strategic interaction would be nice. It's way more accessible than Google Cardboard, Samsung VR, and that's excluding the danger and headache of punches and hook punches like mad with two players in one room...

I definitely did have fun playing, it's quite fun. The only thing that I don't like is the amount of bugs, which I'm sure with time they will smooth out. When I press the Steam button, sometimes the game will completely glitch out making me have to restart. As well as stuck NPC's. I'm finding that I can't move on with the order of fights if an NPC is stuck inside one of the booths. It happens quite a lot too, everytime I had someone try this game they tried hitting one of the guys out of the window 9 times out of 10 the NPC would just get stuck and we wouldn't be able to move on unless we restarted. I have a lot of things, big and little, that I want to report on but these are just the main annoyances, I will be sending them in through the bug reports survey form because I'd love to help this game become better.

As for local multiplayer features, I honestly don't really know other than having that smartphone app or maybe even the ability to add in another player that fights in a QWOP like style? I've just found that whenever someone hops on everyone gets excited and wants to contribute to the game in someway (like any VR game) I feel like it would be cool, but one of the last things on the list. I'd just love to see the bugs smoothed out, and for some online multiplayer/co-op with others. All of those ideas in the other thread's survey are great, I'm really excited to see the future of this game.

I agree with flushing out the bugs and polishing the game before any multiplayer is done. I hate to say it but multiplayer isn't doing too great in VR simply because the market is so small and when a new game comes out, popularity just really dies out because everyone wants to try the new game. This goes for all multiplayer games except Onward. As far as online games: Virtual War fighter = dead, Art of fight = dead, Cowbots vs Aliens = dead, Hover Junkers = Dead, Out of Ammo = dead., etc. These are all online though.

Local multiplayer is in the game now. Its just so much fun. Had 1 person in VR & 3 with Xbox controllers / keyboard.
