Hyper Burst weapons and Hair Trigger

Hair Trigger says that it will convert burst or full-auto weapons to semi-automatic and grant increased damage. If you apply it to a Hyper Burst weapon, however, then the weapon becomes full-auto and you don't get the damage increase (you still get the 5% boost for applying an upgrade kit, but nothing on top of that).

I did put the "Multiplier" attachment on that weapon first, which adds 1 to its burst size (similar to Hyper Burst weapons), but that just took it from burst-3 to burst-4. It seems like putting Hair Trigger on any burst weapon makes it full-auto, contrary to the description.
