Strangers in Global

Sorry if this comes off as strange, but has anyone ever been contacted by strangers in the Global Chat recently? I was playing earlier and made a remark that a weapon I'd gotten was cool, and my chat logs disappeared and a couple of people were posting sets of numbers that looked familiar.

I'm still new to the game and got a nailgun that prints its own nails,and thought it was the coolest thing.So I mention it in chat,my first time using it,and people made ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ comments lol.Oh well.
