Got a cheater debuff without modding the game

Hello, everyone!

Just encountered a very strange issue: started a new run on HG and instantly got a cheater debuff apparently for no reason (it is written that I have a modded weapon but I dont).

Anyone had this issue before?

I've had this happen aswell, no idea what causes it as it's seemingly random.

Being able to add modded weapons and not being able to use them in multiplayer makes the addition seem pointless, which adding weapon modding into a game you're trying to keep balanced to ensure the integrity of the multiplayer in the first place is even more pointless.

The policy on cheating and exploits is honestly weird and stupid imo. They released the ability to mod weapons, which is cool, but penalize you for making OP weapons? What's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ point then? Making OP ♥♥♥♥ is fun.

I just got this issue as well and I think I know why. I was redoing my supply tokens and I added and removed a token from the blank modding weapon at the bottom of the list, wanting to click on everything and all. On the run after that it immediately gave me the cheater debuff and raised the terror level.

I exited the run, went back to the token list and hit the reset button before redoing it, without interacting with the modding weapon this time. The next run didn't have the debuff.

Welp, it happened again without me touching it. Guess that theory's out. Debuffed after starting a new run, which was after losing at a daily run... Guess that's my next hypothesis.
