Hello, Pioneers.

Thank you for joining us for the Early Access launch of ArcheAge Chronicles.

On launch day, we received a large number of reports and suggestions through our Discord bug report channel, Steam Discussions, and other community platforms. We are carefully reviewing the feedback you have shared with us.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who has encountered issues that have prevented them from progressing or enjoying the game as intended.

Below, we'd like to share the major issues identified so far, our plans to address them, and some workarounds you can try in the meantime.

We have completed fixes for the following issues and are working to apply them to the game as soon as possible.

• Unable to Progress Through the Tutorial: Some players have encountered an issue that prevents them from progressing through certain tutorial quests.

• Boss Fails to Spawn: In certain boss encounters, leaving the area and returning can cause the boss to stop spawning.

Additional fixes are also included in this update. We will share the full details once the changes have been applied.

Malchuk Encounter and NPC Dialogue Progression Issues

• We are investigating an issue where, after dying during the Malchuk encounter, the boss may fail to appear again or players may be unable to respawn.

• We are also aware of quest progression issues that can occur after speaking with NPCs in certain areas, including Cliffs of Madness.

• We are currently investigating the root causes and conditions that trigger these issues.

If you encounter either of these issues, please share the details of what happened in our Discord bug reports channel. Your reports will be a great help in identifying the causes.

Progression Blocked When a Party Disbands or the Party Leader Leaves

• We have identified an issue where progression may become blocked or players may be unable to move to the next area if the party leader leaves or the party disbands while running a dungeon.

• Due to the underlying structure of this issue, a fix may take some time. In the meantime, please keep your party together until you have moved on to the next area after completing a dungeon.

• We have also confirmed that some key items are not shared among party members. When progressing as a party, please make sure each member obtains their own key.

Getting Stuck in the Terrain

If your character gets stuck in the terrain and cannot move, please try the following:

1. Press ESC and select Escape.

2. If this does not resolve the issue, restart the game, log in again, and try using Escape once more.

Customizable Movement Key Bindings

We have received a lot of feedback from players who would like more flexibility when changing movement key bindings.

We plan to improve the controls so that movement keys can be freely reassigned, and will work to bring this change to the game as soon as possible.

Chat Display Settings

We have received reports that chat messages in unwanted languages are appearing, and that players would like an option to hide the chat window.

• In the meantime, you can filter out unwanted languages through Settings > Game Options > Chat Language Filter.

• We also plan to add an option to hide the chat window entirely.

Joining the Same Channel as Party Members

Currently, you can use the channel transfer button in the party UI to move to the same channel as your party leader.

However, the button only appears under certain conditions, and it is not always clear when it can be used.

We plan to improve the conditions under which the button appears, as well as the related guidance, to make this feature easier to understand and use.

Unexpected Game Crashes

We plan to address some of the reported game crash issues in the next patch.

We will continue investigating and working to resolve additional crash issues as they arise.

Game Stuck During Anti-Cheat Initialization

The game may get stuck during the anti-cheat initialization process for various reasons.

If you encounter this issue, please take a screenshot of the screen where the problem occurs and submit a ticket through our Customer Support[kakaogames.oqupie.com]. Our support team will look into your case individually and assist you.

You can also access Customer Support from the in-game menu by pressing ESC.

Linux and Steam Deck Support

Linux and Steam Deck are not officially supported at this time.

We will continue to evaluate the possibility of supporting these platforms in the future.

Game Optimization

We have received a lot of feedback about stuttering and frame rate drops during gameplay.

Since performance issues can have various causes depending on each player's PC environment, it may take time to address every case.

However, we will continue working on optimization throughout Early Access to provide a smoother gameplay experience.

Gameplay Feedback

We have also received a wide range of feedback on various aspects of gameplay, including combat feel, class depth, and character progression.

We appreciate both the positive feedback from players who are enjoying the game and the constructive criticism from those who feel there is room for improvement. We are carefully reviewing all of it.

Early Access is an opportunity for us to refine the game together with you. We will continue making improvements based on the feedback you share with us.

We understand that players from different regions are requesting support for additional languages. Localization is also an important area we are actively considering.

We will take some more time to review requests from players across different regions and assess the available options before sharing further updates on our plans.

Once again, thank you for the tremendous interest and feedback you have shared with us since launch.

We recognize that there are still areas that need improvement, and that some unexpected issues have come up. We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been affected.

We are prioritizing the issues identified so far based on their impact on gameplay and working to resolve them in order. We will continue sharing updates through our announcements as fixes are applied and other major issues are identified.

We will keep working to provide a more stable and enjoyable experience as you explore Auroria.

Thank you for your patience and support.
