one steam achievement isn't unlocking - edit all fixed now

In game (as shown) it clearly shows I have all achievements but the finish game steam achhievement which I did think popped up in game (not sure) hasn't unlocked. I went offline and went online again with steam but nothing.

Hi Gingergal,

First off--congratulations on unlocking all the achievements!

I'm sorry for the trouble you are experiencing with it showing up on Steam's end. Were you offline when that one achievement happened to be unlocked?

Also, on the main menu screen, if you go to Extras, are you able to view the bonus scene?

I'm trying to determine whether the issue is with the game itself or on Steam's end.

If it is the latter, I will implement something in-game to recursively unlock Steam achievements.

Thanks for quick reply! I played online, I always play online to make sure no hiccups re achievements. I have viewed the bonus scene, I also have the 'the end' screenshot as well if you want that. As I have ever only encountered in one other game, slow to drop achievements, but they dropped when in game, I didn't know if this was a common problem and there was something obvious to do. I got the did no hints in one playthrough so strange that this one isn't unlocking.

As you can see ingame achievements show all given, and as the bonus scene is showing I think that means it's steam end?

Yes, it sounds like there was some kind of hiccup on Steam's end. I am out at the moment, but when I get home I plan to implement something that will go back and unlock any achievements that didn't go through the first time.

The final achievement should show up for you once I implement this change. With any luck, it will be ready in a few hours.

I've gone ahead and uploaded a new client with a change. Can you run the game for me when you get a chance and let me know if the missing achievement unlocks? If it still doesn't, I can program this in a different way, but it may take a little longer.

EDIT TO ADD - The achievement *should*, hopefully, unlock when you reach the main menu.

Thank you so much for your speedy replies and really speedy fix. The achievement unlocked as soon as I went into main menu and now I have 100% achievements :) Wish all devs were this attentive - well done and thanks again.

So relieved I didn't have to play the game again!

I'm also having this problem. I can't get the 'Acolyte' achievement. I've completed the game and got the game popup for the achievement but not the Steam popup, so the game thinks I have the achievement but Steam doesn't.

To answer your above questions, I was playing online and I can access the bonus scene in extras.

I forgot to add that I've exited the game and run it again and I don't get the achievement on reaching the main menu.

Okay, I've isolated the issue. It was, indeed, an old bug that crept back in due to the latest update. I am quickly working on an update to fix this and also remedy the issues you've posted in your other thread. It should be released within an hour or so. Once the update is out, all you should have to do is open your game, and the achievement will update.
