Mac-

I like to think initial starting gold on full kit+longsword for whichever Light class you start with worked out significantly better. The longsword, leather armor, boots and coif will take you through the first 4 areas fairly easily. Especially if you lucked out and got a Shadow at start, 'cause Tackle/Iron Will/Shadow Kick OP. Then Infirmary/Doc/Training Grounds/Trainer/Library/Scribe/Books for Doc and Trainer.

Don't forget to focus her as individual training to help rack up her XP combined with the fights.

Tavern, Temple, Green can be farmed repeatedly without raising your rep. You can even withdraw from final fights to help curb your rep to keep you from floating up to new areas before you get your smithy and smiths PLUS the money needed for the blue steel swords, shadow hood and armor and thick boots.

You can grind her out to around lvl 15 before you will be looking at another Shadow to purchase.

Tr it out, you might find it a faster/easier way. Plus it'll save you from needing to save scum. ^_~

Thanks for the video.
