Dragons at snow places doesn't seem to give any Dragon Bloodstone on Hard mode.

It does drop, but the rate is very low.
Try to farm the lv70 red dragon in EASY. You can get some powerful traits, too.
I recommend South Snowfield, beside the Ice Elemental, pop up at 6:00 A.M. Kill one, and go back to the tent sleep to the second day, again and again.

The bloodstones also show up rarely in the bushes around the dragon. You can pick one or two of them up without fighting it, but since it isn't that strong it's usually more efficient to just finish it off as well.

Edit: A little clarification. The bushes show up when the snow is melted, while there are some bone piles when it isn't. There are more of the bushes, so that's a little quicker if you need a larger amount.

Posted my correction a little too late. After using the artificial sun in the north auoro snowfield, there's a small lake behind where the dragonaire is at the melted dead woods landmark. The bushes are on the edge of the lake. You can get to one of them on the right without triggering the boss battle easily, and can edge close enough to gather at the one next to it.

The boss itself does drop bloodstones occasionally too, so I'd suggest you've just been unlucky.

If your party is strong enough, just farm the lv70 red dragon. This is more efficient. However if you feel it a bit hard, then you can farm that weaker dragon. But the drop rate and gathering rate, you know :)

Weaker dragon pray tell me where i can find this weaker dragon? Cos i'm really looking for a boss fight thats rather in my league lol.

East cave at Weist plain?I dont remeber the actual location,but its in the desert in cave to the east,that one seemed easy,still lost,because didnt had all good equipment.

I recommend South Snowfield, because it not only drops bloodstone, but also drops Dunkelheit, the most valueble flower and catalyst, which you can not gather easily.
These lv70 bosses have different drop table in different maps, contain different materials and traits.
To gather those fantastic traits, you must farm in three maps.(Unfortunately I don't know the detail of drop table, but only a few things)

South Snowfeild:
Heightened Soul, Resonance All: Truth, Limit Break, Guide Intuition, Dreadful King, Alchemic Star, Perpetual Motion, Hammer of Justice

Weist Plain
Power of Dark-Kin, Limit Break, Persuit of Knowledge, Dreadful King, Alchemic Star, Honed Blade, Kind Soul, Hammer of Justice, Alchemic Star

Traveler's Grove
Alchemic Star, Evolving XXX, Resonance All: Truth

Just you can get these traits there, NOT ONLY THERE.

Well, I'll list some


Alchemic Star
Increase item effect and decrease skill damage(in this game, normal attack is counted as skill)
About 50% damage increasement at 999-quality

Honed Blade
Sharply increase critical damage, and sharply decrease critical rate
But the decreasement doesn't influence ITEM, while the increasement does.

Limit Break
Shaply increase all stat in battle, but cut the max HP.
Use it and check your stat in battle, and you will love it. Remember the stat limit is 999, few things can break the limit, but that's not the thing we discuss here.

Power of Dark-Kin
Drain HP, and increase all stat in battle at night. But it will enhance the monsters at day.
About 50% stat increasement at 999-quality.

Kind Soul
Enhance Burst Mode bonus and gauge fill rate.
It's the gauge before you enter Burst Mode.


Persuit of Knowledge
50% additional damage on normal attack and support attack

Dreadful King
All stat +15 and 35% additional damage on normal attack and support attack

Hammer of Justice
Increase skill power and break value.
About 35% skill increasment at 999-quality, and about 70% unknown damage bonus to skills and item.

Guide Intuition
Increase critical rate and reduce wait time
One at 999-quality can ensure always critical.
