For healing, attack or support, I 1st find out the effects then I put something maybe an extra trait like Cure All or maybe Curse on an Attack item so bosses don't get to heal but damage themselves.
1 thing about MP, I haven't find the need to increase MP, but instead my team needs more HP to survive and there are items to heal MP. So I go for Power of Life (50 HP+)
Try to get as many as you can on your items and you'll probably do find on Hard.
Especially the bombs and healing items, those traits are pretty easy to find.
Make sure you get them as close to 999 quality as possible. For most, 999 quality is doable. Just loop Super Quality, Pro Perfection, Quality Up++ on Distilled Water/Hay/Alchemic Clay/Crimson Stone/etc.
Most useful is Distilled Water. Can be used for most things.
Zettel/Pure Oil/Reactive Catalyst/Globe Ball/Core Crystal are also useful for transferring traits.

P.S. Most of these are from gathering in the field you can go to with the airship. Restrene or something.
The rarer ones are from lv 70 bosses. I used South Auro, Einhorn, and Traveler's Grove bosses to farm.
Once again, for attack item, there is no way Half Crit is better than No Attribute.
Twin Power is terrible, because most stuff are resistant to that. For end game stuff, you want to have them maxed out, add the +5 Count and add Enhance with Count. For a ultimate attack item like Holy Crystal Weight it will give it +63% Damage. For extreamly good single target item it like Wandering Globe it gives +91% Damage.
For example, you have two Resonance: Truth on your 4 members, so everyone gets a +80 all stat effect, not +80*2.
