Fishing Rod & Atelier Modifications, other misc questions

1) I am currently in Flussheim, but i still can't craft a fishing rod. Could someone tell me where to get the recipe?

2) Also, like what the tutorial said, some equipments placed in the atelier will affect the gameplay, e.g +500 container capacity
So, i was wondering are there other equipments that will improve the facilities other than increasing maximum material capacity or Restoration from Beds?

3) Where do i find Crackling water?

1) I dont exactly remember how i got the fishing rod but try collecting some materials near water in the area with the tornado it might help or go check any recipes at shops.

2) After you finished the exam go back to Sophie and she will give you an item that will refresh all usable items in your inventory if you have enough milk. Also theres a desk that will reduce the level needed to synthesize item though its not that useful. Other than that no other items that i know of

3) Gather from ponds dont excatly remember which one though might be forest before FLussheim or further on the journey or it might be easier to fight those Jellyfish and hope you get lucky with the drops cos they do drop crackling waters.

Ps. sorry if not much help i've been focusing too much on battling bosses lately instead of gathering materials >.<

The most useful furniture is the instrument sets you can buy from Mea(Flussheim) and I think Tiana sells one. They give a bonus to proficiency when synthesizing. So you'll reach silver, gold and plat faster for each item. Results in better weapons and traits earlier.
