I'm stuck. Please help.
I got my first letter of recommendation from Mechan and I have no idea where to go from there. Everywhere I've seen to go online hasent worked. Idk if I'm just bad with Directions or if I'm stupid. But I really need help getting to my next letter because I'm wasting too much time wandering around. I have 1 letter and 260 days left.

Yeah its easy to get lost when starting theg ame due to how large the map is. So here's the following areas which have a town for a reccomendation letter. Every other areas you can come back to later after the exam to explore if you want (Well a lot of things get unlocked after the exam so yeah better take care of the exam 1st).
1.White Fog Forest (Pretty easy just go there and follow the instructions )
2.Flussheim(Be warned the recomendation letter here takes the most days and metal &wood materials to finish. It is also mandatory to progress :P)

3.Weist Plain (You need to be strong enough to fight a boss battle)
4.North Auro Snowfield (Alchemy level should be around 20 i think to get this one)

Thank you for this information! How do I get to White fog forest? Which map do I have to go through and were do I go from that map? (North;South;West;East; etc) I'm really struggling with running into dead ends in everymap and its really frustrating!

Now for directions as to how to get to these places

You said you were at Mechen so thats Faave Hills. From there get to Travelers Grove on the area east exit.

From Travelers Grove. The Southeast exit will take you to White Fog Forest. The east exit will eventually take you to Flussheim which is the place you need to go.

After Flussheim you will arrive at Claudel Prairie . The south exit will take you to Weist Plain however you need to either wait for a couple of days or help with the bridge repairs to get there.

THe east exit on the map will take you to Fatalia summit. From there its easy where you need to go to get to North Auro Snowfield.
