Leon is incredibly helpful at getting drops, Monika on defensive duty has pretty much the best effect you can hope for when taking lots of punishment (and she deals a lot of "break" damage so it's easier to interrupt enemies), and Cornelia is nearly as good as Sophie when it comes to using those broken offensive items (especially if you first use her skill that makes items more potent).
Later in the game you will also be able to add Platcha so you will not need a fixed team and with the customization you can do on Platcha she can be good in any role.
I also had the impression that Cory was older than she looks, although whether or not that means she's actually an adult is less clear.
In terms of party build, that seems fine. The best tanks are Julio and Oskar though, so you're definitely missing out on some defensive ability by leaving them out. Leon and Monika should be able to fill in though, especially if you're not on the highest difficulty setting. My personal experience was that on Despair difficulty Cory tends to need someone in defense mode to block powerful attacks coming at her because her defense is so low. Once you get to the late game things become a little different: Cory has an ability that transfers some of her damage to MP instead of HP.
