yeah is true , max level is 20 , but after you unlock a new stuff

You continue to gain experience and can use that experience to continue to improve your characters.

yeah, the leveling system changes a bit. Once you hit level 20, every time you get 1000 experience points, you get 1 ability point to spend on things that will raise your stats or give you new skills
