Xbox 360 controller not working

Works for other games, works in Big Picture, game controller recognizes it, everything seems fine. But no button or stick recognition within the game itself. I don't have vjoy, but I do have a Logitec Gamepad and a Thrustmaster HOTAS. Would love a remedy that doesn't involve me disabling every other peripheral on my system.

Can't tell if you're being serious or not. Just in case you are being serious, you can use different controllers on a PC - since we're not actually playing this on a PS4.

thats very weird cuz i use a f310 gamepad and it works perfect as the game sees it as a xbox 360 gamepad

Works great with X360 Wireless, do a little research before talking about something you don't know, it even shows Xbox command prompts on-screen

Yes, you can, if you have a XInpput controller

Everygame on Steam should work with X360 and One controllers (except those relesead before 2008), without even need extra configuration, because they're both XInput controllers

So, I had to unplug my Thrustmaster HOTAS. Worked fine after that, but it seems like either poor programming or poor steam support if you have to unplug something to be able to play.

Either way, yes, the 360 controller works, just in case you're under the assumption that you have to use a PS4 controller.

well.... im getting this problem too for the first time ...
all that i do is restart the pc then the controller working again :)

wtf? are you high or something? even the button layout for this game is for xbox controller layout lol and yes you can play this with xbox 360, xbox one, ds3 or ds4 controller
