A - We have lots of request for locations, and rest assure that we have plans to localized to many languages during and after full release. During our Kickstarter we promised to localize for French, Spanish, Italian, and German and are also considering Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese. Obviously since we are small team we will prioritize localization based on the demand we received, and that would be largely based on the sales in various regions.
A - Besides Steam community hub, you can also visit these places:
A - Sometime we ask for volunteers to try our pre-public build. To obtain the pre-public build, we will give you a beta access code. Once you receive the code, right click on "For The King" in Steam, select Properties->Betas. Enter the access code. Now you should be able to select from the dropdown box the pre-public build to run on your computer.
If you want to revert back to the current public release, just select "NONE - opt out of all beta programs".
What do I do when the game won't start?
Try this: Hold down Alt key and start the game, Hold the key until the configuration dialog appears. Select Min Spec or Low, and select a low resolution. If the game start successfully, go to Options->Video Settings, and uncheck "Perform Quality Auto-Detect".
Bug, Hard crash or Soft crash
Try do distinguish whether it is a Hard crash, or Soft crash. A Hard crash is when everything is frozen, nothing on the screen is moving, not one pixel. Or another case of Hard crash is the game just close itself.
A Soft crash is when the game is still running, but doesn't let you progress any further.
In each case, please file a bug here [docs.google.com].
A extra useful thing to help us fix the issue is to attach the file output_log.txt (or Player.log for Mac) to your email. On Windows the file can be found in the under FTK_data under where the game is install in your system. On Mac, Player.log is in ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
