but... i played the dungeon run too. there the cities "update" every now and then and get new and better items - so it might be possible that you get unlimited heal items in dungeon runs but not in the "normal" campaign.
does anyone know wether this is a bug or a feature? should this happen in the campaign too?
It stays for what, 10 turns.
If there are a bit of enemies nearby, run, fight it, and then heal again on the tinderpouch.
You can even keep 2 of your characters on the tinder, and just use 1 to run and initiate combat (if the tinder isnt too far from the fight).
I cleared a mini dungeon and a couple enemies using 1 tinder pouch to heal when needed.
But early game first 2 levels still hard to decide
Buy gear to kill enemy faster first?
Buy beard first while it is cheap and no need back track in future?
Not for long. wait until level 5 or so. 200 per character....
IMHO the best items in the game are the ones that slow down all the enemys (gold bow, royal bow) or speed up your entire party(tome of wonder)
It's also very effective to setup camp right before you enter a dungeon and use it again right after you leave.
The world may going to end but the shopkeepers rather increase herb price than help the heroes.
Hahahahah I though that too .
