Mod or Adjustments
Is there any chance we can get some mod support from the devs? Or in the absence of that, could we get some options to adjust the game more than the current difficulty settings?

I am talking about adding a sandbox/custom scenario setting, assuming there isn't one already (I played the game a lot during EA, and just now played the game for the first time in a VERY long time.) I would like the option to get one quest per character, and to have more quests available overall, more quests available per town (Currently I believe you can complete 1 quest per town, then all the other quests become unavailable.) Also changing what the market carries regularly, like every 7 turns, as well as adding a lot more items (This is where dev adding mod support could really help the game add a lot of items, balanced or otherwise, without a lot of work being necessary by the Devs.)

These things coud make the game have some issues with balance, but I think that can be very easily altered by adjusting how many enemies are on the map at a time, and other small adjustments to the enemies that would help balance the game with these settings being put into the game. I am hoping the Dev can read this, and understand that mod support especially can increase the life of a game by 3 or 4 times if done right. The Total War series, Skyrim and probably dozens of other games have proved how well a game can do for many years after release, when the Devs of games support mods, and tell the fans/players of the game exactly what they expect from modders. Thanks for reading.

+1. Very interested on it - I would like to make some mods for this game, like I've done for Don't Starve.

No workshop and one is unlikely any time soon. Doing all those types of changes and edits to the game would require code level changes or exposed elements that modders could hook into. Workshop is not a tool just an upload/download portal. To do any major edits or add new items and such, you would need developer level tools. That gets tougher to get.

There is one very good mod you can check out here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/527230/discussions/0/133260492055999493/ that will do some of what you are looking for. Downside is every game update requires loading a new version of the mod or reloading the mod.

Also sounds like the Devs are looking at adding in some more setting to allow for even easier or harder games than we have now.
