Why are AOE Curses a thing?
So why is it the AI can get AOE curses and eat your lunch and continue to cast multiple curses without giving them a timer to end or end after that enemy is killed?

How does that make any sense? Stupidest implementation of curses in this game by far.

I think so. Curses in this game is remain Eternal time If I do not remove it.

Curses do last until removed via herb or town visit. Finding items that offer curse immunity are key to find and use. Curses are also not as devistating as they first appear. Most characters are running off one primary stat to run their best attack. So it's a roll of the dice if that one stat gets hit. If a curse hits an off stat you are basically okay. I've run the final fights and some dungeons with active non-critical stat curses. Like everything else in the game you need to use the best methods at hand to deal with the curves the game hits you with.

Doesn't stop the fact that Witches in the late game have AOE curses. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I try to have curse immunity on all my characters by the time I reach Hasta. My scholar/alchemist generally has the mage robe with it. The Foul Priestess from the Desecrated Church always drops a headpiece with it. There is a sanctum that grants it. There is a talisman with it that is often available from vendors. If one or two of my characters are without it, well that's what Hag's Bane is for. As Cap'n Darwin says, if the curse isn't on your main stat it usually isn't an emergency (though a speed curse is almost as bad). My last playthrough my alchemist had a strength curse on her almost the entire game as she got immunity shortly after being cursed and never had need thereafter of HB or a Blessing.

That said I could see the price of Blessing coming down a bit.

There are a number of mechanics in this game which can ruin your playthrough, but all can be anticipated and generally avoided, at least on the easiest difficulty.

And when you run into an Acid Jelly on the first fight who destroys all of those items that prevent curses then youre left with nothing to defend against it because now your items are gone it seems like a good concept to have be able to cast 2+ curses damaging all stats across the board and now with less armor and defense against any of it......
