Dead party member

Is there a way to loot a dead party member?
I was doing Hildebrant's cellar and my money mule died. Now there's 600+ gold sitting on the corpse and I don't know if I can get it or not.

I know when youre on the world map, that player can give his gear to any nearby player as if he was still alive. However, im sorry i dont know if this works in the cellar.

Yes. At the end of the battle, open another character's inventory. Then click on the right and left arrows to move to the dead character. From there you can unequip and/or give his items to others.

Also, outside of dungeons it's a good idea to always loot your dead team members if you cannot revive them immediately, due to a lack of lives atm. Thats is because if you don't, some invisible npcs will ... Turn by turn they first take the money and then the items in the inventory. The equipped equipment is safe though.

Oookay ... It's a few days later and I noticed I can't access the dead party member's inventory when inside a dungeon. I'm pretty sure it worked a few months earlier - but I won't swear it did ..t. Anyone can confirm that it works in this case?
It wouldn't make sense anyway since I can loot everything topworld, so why not in a dungeon. But I can't even open the inventory, so I can't move anything. I tried starting with the living char's inventory, too, and tried arrows, space and tab to move to the other char's.
I'm not in the cellar btw but in the dungeon tour.

Bug or feature?
