Las Vegas has put Billions towards RNG engines for their games, and in the early 00s several developers who worked on that RNG engine realized a 2% chance for a certain hand based on the engine.
This allowed them to make millions before being caught and expelled from casinos.
I know exactly what RNG means, RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR, it does not mean that they are all made equally are all made fairly.
This is why I am considered a troll, I know more then you, I understand terms better then your peers, and I know exactly what I'm talking about but your blinded by your association with you own self worth with the goods you buy.
I don't blame you, you're just the product of a consumerist culture.
This is incredible, I can't believe people could be THAT unhelpful and that insultingnat the same time, while being condescending.
Also, dunno why you came to this thread for help - with what? - since the OP just was a rant about the game.
If you need advice for anything, why don't you look for relevant threads or post your question if you can't find one?
Anything else than insults including :
- Advices on how to tackle RNG
- Information about the RNG itself
- Pretty much any informations about those tags to be honest
What I ended up with is a bunch of people insulting each other being top result on Google search, and another guy asking why I search help in a help forum, rather than actually giving out information. That's equally helpful as telling people to Google search, or linking to a completely unrelated topic as they usually do when you create a thread..
I think in general you tackle the RNG by using the various bad-luck mitigation mechanics in the game, but there will always be some randomness to contend with if you get a spate of bad luck.
That's how SEO works, so I would argue there are many many more people who agree with me then you.
Git gud, at life Ryan, get out of the basement your parents haven't seen you for weeks, they want to come down to check on you, but last time they did, they found you doing some really weird stuff with a body pillow.
Or your second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eight or ninth try either LOL.
This game is like a casino, it's a lot of fun but you go in expecting to lose because you know the odds are stacked against you. I've been in battles where I laughed my ass off at how heavily stacked the game is against the player. I'm still enjoying it though.
Oh well, time for run number ten. Let's see how this one goes. Happy gaming!
Journeyman I think it's possible as well to win any game with any group 100% of the time so long as you play optimally. Even on master it should be possible, but the early game specifically would be very hard if you don't handpick your team with specific roles and a game plan in mind, but that's fair for the highest difficulty mode.
Like most RNG games out there, it's all skill and knowledge based. Battle brothers, Xcom, Darkest Dungeon, to name a few, have more difficult RNG than this game to manage, but all of them can be beaten as well just fine on the hardest difficulties available. Sometimes you get unlucky, but seldom is it bad luck that kills you.
