Question about Whale Belly

Hi, i wanna unlock the treasure hunter but i need to know something, the whale belly dungeon , it's a dungeon like water temple with a specific place or he spawn randomly when we navigate the ocean ? He can spawn on all game or he can have a game without chance to encouter it ?

I'm not sure but I need to get it too. wanna start a game together? I found it once, but kraken got me first. it was a level 6 dungeon in the middle of the ocean somewhere.

It‘s a dungeon but on the map it looks like a whale. So you‘ll be looking for a level 6 whale

From what i could test, the game chooses randomly a water tile in the ocean when it starts and puts the whale on it. You then have to either discover it by passing 1 tile near it (or more with buffs) or using scrolls.
So yeah, you have to discover all the ocean tile by tile. You also need to pass a talent check inside the whale.

at the end of the dungeon you have to do a talent based roll with one dice to save the treasure hunter. but after i completed the dungeon and unlocked the treasure hunter there was a second whale belly just one tile away from the other. i guess you can get the treasure hunter there if you cant do the roll in the first whale belly.

more than one can spawn a run, if you sail around on apprentice you should be fine
