Price and enemy strength inflation formula?
Hi! Could you please explain what makes the prices at merchants' increase? Is it time or xp or story progression or geography or else?

The same question is about the power of dungeons and all the foes.

I have read in some other thread that it's story progression. And I think the first time prices increase is after you have beaten the first story-dungeon.

Indeed it is a valid strategy to delay story progrssion on purpose -- buy everything up that is useful at low prices. Then move the story along only then. Almost necessary to do before the maze.

HOWEVER eventually enemies will appear on other areas that you havent discovered yet -- and you have to kill them before the timer goes off or you have major negative consequences. At that point you have to move to move the story along.

I got a message "Cities are updated" when I just ended turn. Does that mean the prices are increased? I also noticed that in some cities prices are a bit different. However, the prices seem to be stable for the gear you can put on after the overall price jumps. Only services and consumables prices inflate.
