What is the Dark Carnival?

I found a one-time ticket to it in a chest but what is the Dark Carnival? How do I redeem the ticket? Does the whole party go or just the character with the ticket? Googled it but can't find any information about it.

The dark carnival will show up on the map - literally looks like a little carnival with - similar to the night market. But basically there are a few different chance games that can have excellent payouts. It's best to stock up on LUCK boosting items before you head in. Save that stuff, and hand it off to a single character, then try your luck.

Well, unfortunately I never did locate the Dark Carnival and died at the end of the King's Maze so that's that. I cruised right though that maze to the end too but that final encounter was just brutal. Hopefully, I find another ticket in another game one day and actually find the place next time.

There are loads of 'dark carniva' tickets. I have three right now. I made it through the Kings Maze a few times now - you need all three characters to have high damage weopons, to level up and to buy lots of God's beard and golden root while its still cheap.

I have made it to Hasta, which is the next stop after the King's Maze but I can't seem to get enough Godsbeard to survive the enemies as the price goes up ridiculously from there. 8- 30 gold is a jump that was difficult but manageable, but 160 and 240 for God'sbeard meant I couldn't survive the baddies on the other side.

you need to unlock the dark carnival in the lore store before it can appear in the world
same with the night market

they are basically everywhere after you do
afaik one in every zone

ah just discovered this last night that I needed to scroll down to spend the 124 lore points I had.
