For what group and what difficulty? If you are new to the game, I would recommend going with Blacksmith, Hunter, and Minstrel; since you don't have anything unlocked your options aren't exactly plentiful, but I've found the Scholar to be less useful then the other three starting characters. Additionally, Blacksmith, Hunter, and Minstrel are pretty newbie friendly to play with.

Later on I would recommend maybe upgrading your characters a bit - perhaps switch out the Blacksmith with the Busker, take the Herbalist over the Minstrel, etc. Maybe avoid Woodcutter and Trapper as they are kind of weak at the moment.

We will be adding more characters, yes. But we want them to be a surprise as to what they are in particular.
i actually prefer the trapper, I don't like to run without one. He's awesome for disarming traps in dungeons and if you're in a sticky situation in like the golen plains or whatever his ambush is the best, only needs 2 rolls instead of 3. I like to run minstrel, blacksmith, trapper or if I dont run minstrel ill go herbalist. Group heal is a must in my opinion. I look to get an item with group heal on it when I run the minstrel or the busker. Those two gorups work for me the best. I don't really like the feel of the woodcutter.
hey someone looking for a party?

But his passive gets compeletely made redundant by a herb...

Trapper's passive is ok at best, but counter doesn't really conflict with a herbalist, what are you talking about?

Hermit's Grass is not a nonstop drop.

I was playing earlier and thinking how awesome Scholar's refocus ability is too, that character might be a better choice than Herbalist, Party Heal is an easily acquirable ability and Find Herbs is overrated and only works during the day.

Thou I respect you have your own opinion, I disagree with it.
i tried the busker hunter and herbalist and me and my friends got further than we have ever before its really good team i would of never thought, we would always have a black smith to tank it haha, ill try the other team next that one of you suggested, also cant wait to see these characters i love this game haha.

This in my opinion is the best party to beat the game with, the rest of the characters are hard pressed to swap out any of those guys. Not sure if that guy recommended that party cause he tried it, but I have a post up that shows me beating normal with that party lineup.

Just remember the busker always entertains as long as you know its conditions.
I have 4 party combinations that you can try.

1.herbalist+busker+blacksmith (1st Map - For The King)
2.monk+treasure hunter+woodcutter (2nd Map - Frost Adventure)
3.scholar+trapper+monk (3rd Map - Into The Deep)
4.minstrel+hunter+hobo (4th Map - Dungeon Crawl)

Just use BS, Scholar and Hunter. I beat the campaign on Master with those without issue. Scholar's refocus is so good.
