Heal char outside their turn
The biggest turn off right now for me is the fact that even when other chars have godsbeard healing item they can't use it unless it is there turn on overworld or while in combat sucks to have a char get down to 10 or less hp and have to wait tell its his turn to heal him even though u can trade items equip/change armor when its not...is this purposeful or could this be a quality of life improvement...

Hmm, I'm not able to change armor or weapon on the char that has his turn. Are you sure you are able to do that? All I can do in combat is use herbs on the char that has his turn.

I see after reading i didn't word that well...after combat ends u have a char at 10 health and now while they are on overworld while nothing is happening you are unable to use herb to heal them unless it is there turn while u can switch weapons/armor and trade between chars this seems like a completely negative aspect

to go further it can make you have to "waste" turns on other chars and not fight if it would bring that low char into combat else risking them getting hit before even being able to use herb and also wasting a precious attack phase while enemy is most likely all there still to heal while they are dishing out the most damage.

This is exactly what I find annoying while playing xD Would be great if we were able to heal or do things for a certain char even though it is not his or her turn. It would also be nice if we could use focus to heal a small portion of the characters health. That way focus becomes more of a strategic thing than it it now. For referencing, Splatercatgaming (youtuber) talks about this :)

The Herbalist has a Party Heal skill but it uses up a godsbeard from her inventory each time she does it. It's a combat skill so you can't use it on the world map. Sometimes it's worth looking for a fight just to heal up a badly wounded ally. Just hope they don't suffer death by initiative.

So you are upset that a character can't do an action if it isn't their turn in a turn based game?

Can anyone check if Party Heal Scale with Increase Pipe level on the herbalist? If it doesn't then just 11 heal is very useless outside Act 1.

The party heal is excellent - and YES it scales with your pipe. Boost from 11 as soon as possible. Other players should give you their gold to help you upgrade it TWICE. The heal does not scale with level at all - and you come across more items and gold than you would think. Spend on the cheap pipe upgrades early. Should cost 20 the first time, then about 70.

Do it! Get them pipes upgraded! Such a shame the amount of herbalists Ive played with who spend all their money on crap instead of that xD

Ah but everyone else can hand off their godsbeard to the herbalist outside combat then, if the entire party stays together, you can have quite a lot of party healing available :).

I haven't checked that yet. I only just gained access to the pipe upgrade merchant today. HAven't met them yet either.

You can upgrade your pipe in town under the "Services" tab as well. I have had the pipe merchant unlocked for quite a few games now, but still have yet to see him in game. Most of the time if you are upgrading your pipe, its going to be through a town instead of the pipe upgrade merchant. It will cost you a bit more gold that way though.

The party heal while nice is often very moot later game thou tbh because of one char usually having very high dodge so never take damage just spikes and one usually has very high armor low resist so they take spike damage and other high resist low armor so they take spike damage so often fights end up with one char taking 90% health while the other two take next to nothing damage and the diff between a single heal w/ pipe lvl 2 on all chars vs someone w/ parthy heal pipe lvl 2 is drastic and wasteful because the other two heal for like less then 10 while other person needs to heal for 80 health so party heal is crap late game unfort yes party heal helps earlish when no one has much of anything and damage is often split around but even then there are usually cases when its just spike damage to single targets and again party heal not as effect and no u don't have to have herbalist to get party heal many weapons and items give it and while i do not like herbalist as a party member i find the skill useful early game and try to find it for my high int char to keep around for spot healing at times for group all depends so random :)

Then wiredawg why does using an herb not cost any actions when it is there turn? pleas answer this...and then also answer why chars can trade gold if its not their turn and trade items if its not their turn and equip diff items if its not their turn? difference between major and minor actions in many pen and paper rpgs, play a few rounds of dnd and itll make a lot more sense. you can do a minor and major action in one turn, or multiple minor actions, but since they are not free actions, they cannot take place outside of your turn.
