Death Lotus In Hardcore

Unless I'm mistaken and it's a bug, the player cannot revive fallen characters in Hardcore mode. In that case it immediately undermines Death Lotus' viability because unless you have a herb to remove the curse (it's considered a curse, right? The eventual death debuff can be removed?) the character and the playthrough itself may as well be doomed, since having 1 less character in this game in Hardcore makes it practically impossible to beat.
