Love the Game BUT... Frustrated with the outragous cost of things.
The cost of items should stay the same regaurdless of which act your on. It makes not sence to up the cost of the healing herb from 8 to 30 to 120 or what ever it is. If the cost is going up then it should be less drimatice like 8 , 12 , 30 or somthing like that. Or just cost more due to the town your in.

The cost of items go up, but you gain much much more gold per fight - so it doesn't really matter...

I found out that this game is about attrition... keeping you on the brink of crisis throughout to force you to pay attention. This game like attending the same funeral over and over again... and each time it gets sadder, until the point you question yourself on why your still playing.

And the fact that people have beaten this game before makes me want to beat it myself so I can finally get off and get on with my life.

You can also devote to the gold sanctum and use gold multiplier trinkets etc.
It will give you tons of gold.
But yea we too had a run where pretty much all of our gold got stolen late game ones.
But 99% of the time your good gold isn't uber important as most good gear is from Scourge kills etc.

Godbeards eat most of the funds - but try to buy out everything in act I / act II (including dungeon merchants and Devil's Warf) and it's gonna be fine... plus in act I and act II do not hesitate to buy other herbs - they all will come handy.

Gold source are quests and bandits/scamps/thieves. As mentioned above, Sanctum of Wealth helps a lot.

In act I also put prio in killing Beastmen and try to get Four Leaf Clover (Lucky coin as less usefull alternative...) from quest or night market - will also help with Gambling den or Dark Carnival later.

Tinder pouch you have a good chance of getting from crows or later from bats. And generally in act I focus on imps, crows, beastmen - they are the best risk-value regarding loot and it might set up your game to be easier going forward.

A perpetual time looped funeral that gets sadder and sadder until you find a way out... sounds like a Dr Who episode.

I legit sprayed coffee through my nose when I read this.I do hope that's not the main driving factor behind your continued play... But hey, the way I've always seen it with any creative venture is that if you've managed to evoke an emotional response: you've done good work.
