can't place units

How do you place units on the map? I selected a unit that was in my price range and clicked a spot on the battle grid, but no unit appeared.

Make sure you have enough room. Some units take 4 blocks and some take up to 24ish i believe. I have had one bug where I just couldn't place anything, I restarted the game and it was fixed

ok, it seems that placing them on the map isn;t the issue, rather, I'm having trouble selecting them from the list. Sometimes I have to click the unit several times to get it to actually select.

I know I am several and I mean several years late, but if someone comes here looking for an answer and they don’t have their problem fixed, Here is what worked for me.

I opened the settings and went to the controls Of the settings And I had to bind the place key to be something for example right click because it wasn’t bound to anything
