Can't Get VR to Work - Meta Quest 3
I recently purchased a Meta Quest 3. After many hours figuring out how to get games to run in vr (sich ad Elite Dangerous), i'm now trying STBC.
When i've tried launching it through Steam, choosing tonlaunch in steam vr:
1. It doesn't launch in vr, just standard on my monitor, with no vr indication on headset.
2. It is very choppy even on monitor. If I launch it through Uplay it isn't choppy or low fps, but still no vr, just monitor.
When I attempt to launch it through meta quest liibrary it wontlaunch at all. It shows "loading" on the app box for stbs in the vr headset, but then thhen it stops and nothing happens, but I get a message popup on monitor from steam telling me:
"Launch the Game With Custom Arguments- Star Trek: Bridge Crew is attempting to launch with optional parametets shown below:
-uplay_steam_mode
If you did not request this launch or do not understand these options, select Cancel."
Choosing to "continue" results in the same issue, the game just runs on the monitor, no vr in headset. Choosing "cancel"...obviously it cancels the launch.
I've tried launching though Uplay, Steam (with launch in vr - option), & through the Meta Quest VR library itself. No luck.
Anyone have any ideas, or maybe have dealt with this before & have a solution ?

Hold your horse, maybe I found the answer.
In steamVR: Goto steam settings - Display - and: disable GPU blocklist.
I also deleted: -uplay_steam_mode.
With these changes I played in VR - mode. I hope this will help

1. "Hold your horses..." - lol, haven't heard that in a while.
2. I got it working some time back (forget exactly what I did, but it was something simple but not obvious, if I remember correctly), but forgot to update here. However, maybe your info. will be useful to someone at some point. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have the same problem. "Disable GPU blocklist" didn't affect it at all for me, unfortunately.
