Isn't there some sort of legal right like prescriptive right to continue using something that has been used? I think the fact that they disabled a feature on the software I already purchased and hid it under a lie calling it an update makes it even worse. Any attorneys out there? Lets file a class action.
All we as consumers can do these days is not give our cash to said companies, i had to buy this game twice as the Oculus version they sold me has hardware DRM and won't work without a Oculus VR HMD, so i had to buy the steam vr version also to play this on the Vive......and Ubisoft support basically told me "tough luck sucker, byeeeee".......so lesson learned and byeeee to any future ubisoft anything.......it's all we consumers can do at this point.

After extending the availability of the IBM Watson powered voice recognition feature in Star Trek: Bridge Crew for over a year, this beta feature is being discontinued today.
Thanks to all the players that used the feature and gave us valuable feedback. We extend our thanks to IBM's Watson team. Together, we learned invaluable lessons on the possibilities of this technology.
Remember that you can still issue orders to your NPC crew via the menu-based commands. Live long and prosper!
even indie games now have working voice commands and they don't need ibm to hold their
hand. Alot of dross will fail this year perhaps ubisoft is one that deserves to become past tense.
without keybinds to set to a voice attack profile i havent seen an easy way. But im new to voice attack an i think it would be possible if we could find the original Watson 'macros' or whatever the were keyed to the original voice commands
please re activate. more people play and wish the voice comands back, renew a voice comand service please. maybe it gave a open source version?
