In online play my issue as an engineer is that you are bound to take constant orders and if u act on ur own on a certain task like rerouting power to engines for max speed maneuverability in dogfights or just escaping or reaching a destination faster, this usually leads to upset teammates. I feel as an engineer, you can't act on your own expertise and judgment because regardless if its the right thing to do at that point or not, be ready to get verbally abused and flamed.

Very true, but as mentioned at the beginning of this guide, it wasn't designed for everyone as it is just a game :) but for those who want to get the most out of teamwork
