Can you play singleplayer?
Just curious, I know that this game is mainly for multi.

I orginally thought not, but apparently you can play a game with just two people and npc commands. I was wondering if you could play with one.

Yes - single player works fine based on what I've seen and read.

Apparantly it will use IBMs Watson AI for voice recognition and if its to be believed it has an error rate currently of 5.5% and it is determined that humans have an error rate of 5.1% when listening- so IBM is not far from near human speech recognition and this is to be used in Star Trek Bridge Crew as a single-player being able to command your crew members.

Very important to note that Watson functionality will NOT be available at launch. It is expected to go into beta pretty close to launch if I understood correctly.

I dont like to play co-op games with random people online and none of my friends are as lucky as me to actually have a vr system.

I may give the online a try-out but I want to be sure that the singleplayer is still there.

I'm the same way. There's a plethora of trolls about and having the option to go single-player is a good thing.

to those asking about single player, someone who owns a psvr uploaded single player gameplay, check it out. It actually looks pretty decent on the psvr, I was thinking it would be worse. I wonder if you can customize your ai crew members.

Is it just me, or does that look like someone is using a gamepad? And if they're using a gamepad... it kinda makes the VR requirement a little less plausible. Very odd decision.. Obviously VR is MUCH more immersive.. but as this is a YT vid... I can easily see this playable on normal monitors... hmmm

Because I don't like Multiplayer and especially this - I don't want to know you or play with you. Yes, I don't know you but I know I don't like your response so I don't want to play with you. You might be a great guy but I don't want to play with you or anyone else.

I want only Single player games. For me, I like to drive alone instead of always having 3 friends with me.
