Friend is perpetually Offline for this game

I'm having the weirdest bug. A friend of mine is always Offline in the game, even when the Ubisoft Club website AND Steam show him as being online and in the game. We've played matches together, but only when a third paty invites us both to a room. It's deeply frustrating, and I'm not really sure how to fix it.

I found some similar Ubisoft bugs in other games when searching, but nothing resolved this issue. Removing the friend and re-adding them did nothing. I'm not really sure what to do.

maybe if he tries to reinstall the game. is he on steam to, or is he on uplay only?

I am having the same problem. My friend and myself are both online on Steam, both shown as playing Bridge Crew... same goes for the Ubisoft Club website. Yet when I try to add her to a game she appears offline, and I to her. We both can join quick match games with random strangers just fine.

Also, people have added me to friends through the game, like PSVR users, and I've accepted their friend request and see when they are online through the game. So I am able to see others online, while she remains offline. Would love to resolve this ASAP. Thanks.

I had the same problem and figured it out. You have to go to uplay.ubi.com and download the uplay program and then leave it signed in and running when you're playing Bridge Crew.

Thanks for the suggestion. I read elswhere that if you set the region in the game to ALL that it will work, but I have not verified it. If that doesn't work, I'll try downloading that program. Thanks again for the info.

My friend and I both set our location to Automatic and we were able to find eachother and play together. So give it a try if you're having the problem.

You both need to kill your friendship through ubi and THEN only one of you send the request and the other only accept. There!
