Push to talk

Hi,
is there a way to use push to talk somehow?
I dont like voice activation :-/

I don't think it's voice activated as much as open mic, but no.

Really wish I could trade the Steam overlay button on the side of the Vive for a mute button.

no... i asked, because im a smoker... sometimes i cough.... and i dont want to disturb others in my room... plus - not every1 need to hear what i say to other ppl living in/near my room.... and vice versa....

no. there is no push to talk, would be nice if they could add it.. or a mute mic button on the vive menu bar. i use a external mic atm with a hardware switch to turn my mic on and off atm. but i would love to have a mute mic button on my vive headset or a software button in the menu

I use a logitech g930 and it has a mute button on the headset or I just move the mic up and it mutes. Not sure what other people are doing though.

yea i need to invest in another headset if they not going to add a push-to-talk option, because some people are complaining about the constant broadcasting from my microphone

There is alot this game could do better, but PTT is at the top of my list of requests.

Most games these days have this feature and it is also switched 'on' by default, if users want to use voice activation that is fine, but by adding this feature it will cut out some of the experience breaking, breathing, screaming kids and plane, train or sirens that can sometime drown out other players.

I would like to have push to talk for vr and none-vr version of the game even if they do it just for non-vr thats ok as i got friend i have tryed to play it with who do not have the vr version and they some times have people come into the room to talk to them or have dogs that bark and they do not like it when people hear all that stuff going in the background.

Open mic without option sucks badly in a game like this... Its not just hearing rants there are other things we just dont want to hear- From belching to .....

Is there still no push to talk? I cant play multiplayer at all people just complain to me that they hear themselves in my mic wtf people.
