Audio only plays during loading screens on Rift
My audio only plays during loading screens and the intro title bit. During missions it's totally silent. I've tried a few options in Steam VR but to no avail.

Check the audio settings in the game maybe?

Nothing but volume sliders there :(

Same problem here. I went into a multiplayer mission and verified (via head and hand signals) that the microphone was working, but once I enter training or missions, there is zippy audio in my headset. Using SteamVR and an Oculus Rift.

I contacted Ubisoft Support on this and their response was "it looks like this is an issue that we're currently investigating and gathering information for" so at least they are aware of the issue.

Have you tried turning off SteamVR once the game starts? I was under the impression that it actually ran through Oculus, so SteamVR might be getting in the way. I haven't had a chance to do much testing though, only played the tutorial to learn some of the stations so far.

There may be a conflict between the audio system you are using and the Oculus headphone audio system.

If that were the case, I wouldn't expect audio to work right up until you select a training mission or other mission.

Audio is coming through the HDMI connector along with the video. The graphics card is an Nvidia GTX970.

Yeah, support basically told me a similar thing. I'm glad i'm at least not alone. FWIW I still have the same issue. It's a shame as I wanted to play.

Has anyone foound a fix for this I have the same issue.

Try plugging your Rift into another USB port- some users have reported issues with some USB 3.0 ports and moving it to a 2.0 one has solved audio not working in some games

Disable all other audio devices and go to Oculus Home audio settings and untick secondard mirror audio device.

Still no luck yet @UndeadSpartan. I find that I also have this issue with the Lone Echo game now. I've disabled unused audio devices and updated everything I can think of. I still have sound in Oculus home and the loading screens, just still not the game. I don't really have another USB port that I can try unfortunately.
