I don't believe so, I think we just need to have the UPlay account to link to.....

I hope not, I installed UPlay and the game does not show up as "owned."

well uplay in any form is aids, i have an account but the email no longer exist, when trying to change it ubisoft in all their wisdom send an email to that address with intructions on how to change it

im suprised these ppl can even get themselves dressed in the moring

i really don't understand why retarded companies like ubisoft do this, i just want to buy a game on steam and play it, not be bombarded with your crappy software and ads, wtf is wrong with companies nowadays? do they have monkeys in charge?

I find it surprising someone will deny themselves a fun experience just because of a small extra step.

I'm not a fan of uplay or Origin etc etc but if I need em to play a game im hankering for, I'll install em.

They're hardly any more intrusive than Steam.

Personaly, I dont see the issue, but it's a free(ish) world.

You then click on the >Games< menu in Steam and choose >activate a game on steam< paste your activation number in and Bridge Crew will then be in your Steam Games library waiting for the release in a few hours from now.

No you will launch it through Steam which then connects to ubisoft uplay, just like every other ubisoft product on Steam. It states right on the store page. Go read it.

If you bought the game through the Ubisoft Store, you should have received an email stating the game is played through UPlay. You launch the game through Steam but then it connects to Uplay.

Playing through UPlay is unavoidable and it's not a big deal.
