I don't have any other idea except for looking for them manually. The icons and difficulty names are something to pay more attention to. Normal is already pretty tough for drum playing (but a bit boring when played on a keyboard with osu itself).
Overall, there aren't that many quality maps with sane difficulties, unfortunately. Even less when you need to look for easy difficulties.
In the end I hope this game will also support converting normal osu maps like osu itself does. They are less dependent on simultaneous presses and generally easier, but I think they're a good fit for drum play that way. And there are tons more of them, obviously.
Do you maybe know of some packs or pages with more pop songs? On Stepmania site there's no search engine and from what I see there's mostly japanese anime and hardcore songs.

This site have a bit more songs of diffrent genres, but it requires an account to download the songs.
