.exe file missing/Norton

Anyone know what I can do to get the exe file? I've uninstalled/reinstalled, verfied to see it was missing executable, verified the properties, deleted appcache file in Steam file, and I still got nothing. I'm guessing it has something to do with my Norton antivirus but I can't figure out how to fix it from there. The "advice" about the antivirus software isn't helpful to me.

Yeah, I just had Norton nuke the .exe, saying it was a high risk trojan.gen.2
