How to shoot the bow?

I made a bow and have it selected as the primary weapon. I also made some arrows and pressed 'F' when they were in one of my inventory slots and saw that the game then put them into the ammo slot on the equipment screen.

But when I try to shoot, all my guy does is swing a fist. Is this a bug or am I missing a skill or doing something wrong?

I figured it out: click and hold RMB to get into stance, then click LMB to pull bow, release LMB to fire.
