As I recall, the issue is that they broke the last bit of the game with a patch. It's been a while since I played, but the was an important material/recipe that couldnt be completed anymore.

So, this one wasn't abandoned in a good way. It was broken the abandoned, which is not good.

cant permanently break a game with a patch / update as the previous version is always available to them to roll back and repair. it seems the game was a "juicer" to gather funds for "something"

The games feels very unfinished, I thought this was early access. It is unbalanced and full of bugs, for example the reindeer will get stuck everywhere and needs feeding every two minutes and that is just one of the many annoying aspects of this game.

"EARLY ACESS" EH??the game has been out for a good few years. it is not unfinished but i will agree there needs to be more. i think someone with the skills could buy the games rights and develope it further but that will never happen.

(Really old post, I know, but wanted to throw out this reminder) *Points to Planet Explorers* yes, a game can be broken so hard with 1 patch that it can damn nearly be permanent. Will never forgive those devs till either they do Planet Explorers 2 like they claimed when they were ending production on Planet Explorers 1, or they come back and fix that mess.
