Is it fair to say that the second episode ends on a big cliff-hanger?
They have effectively abandoned it, and us, now having established themselves on the profits of those games and have turned their attention to more lucrative projects.
Shame on them for not even having the decency to respond to peoples inquiries regarding the 3rd episode. I for one shall not be purchasing any further games by this developer.
Yep, this is my exact fear. I almost bought these two episodes, too. I'm glad I didn't.
Despite my deep disappointment with the developer as previously expressed I would agree with this. The two games are a great VR experience, so long as you buy knowing that the story is incomplete and assumed abandoned.
Now I really want to play this still, but since it's clear 3 will never come out I cannot justify $30 for part 2!! Even if they finished the story with a comic I would be happier than knowing it ends with an unresolved cliffhanger!
They should make part 3 and "remaster" the first 2 parts with some minor improvements and sell the trilogy as a single game. VR is now ready for such an excellent complete adventure. Sure many never bought because it was episodic.
Still, it's a shame it was abandoned :(
