Zombies, particularly in VR games thus far, are so greatly over-used.

Your comment there on giant rats/ants/bees from the old 70s flicks, made me think that a "honey I shrunk the kids" kind'a thing would be awesome.
*Shrink* the player & then all the creepy/scary stuff is a danger (monster) that we're familiar with. Snakes, spiders, whatever.
