Is it possible someone exploited the game code to cheat?

NOTE: I am pretty alright at this game, however, I could have just encontered a REALLY effin good player.

I was in a game with a Rift user (Player name was Unknown-XXXXXX) and somehow, someway, this cat ALWAYS knew right where I was. Like single headshot kill while running up on me, firing the second he cut the corner or just a brainer right thru cover, without ever seeing him. I'm talking he was on my can like white on rice, babycakes. It is almost as if he could see me thru the walls.

Now, I am not saying this dude was cheating, he could have just been SUPER lucky or a god like player. But when a player dies, the player that killed them is shown, visable thru all walls and cover. Is it possible someone took the snippit of code, twisted it around and made a wall hack kinda thing? Normally I would shrug it off and play another round, but this guy was suspiciously hyper aware of my position and orientation at all times.

Thats very hard to tell. Of course, somebody could just be highly skilled. Especially if you know the layout of the map you might be able to make good assumptions where somebody is most likely going to pop up next. In combination with listening for footstep sounds and burst firing at positions that your enemy might pop up next that could definitely feel a bit like cheating but isn't at all. Thats why I'd say "In dubio pro reo" here.

Anyway I think cheats are most often unlikely because VR isn't really that interesting for cheating.
