We have seen this issue on another computer where he could not click in the main menu but it worked fine in-game.
This was our artist who had a special monitor with custom drivers. It had a special pen which worked as a mouse and which allowed him to draw on the monitor. When clicking with this pen on the main menu, he could navigate through the main menu. Clicking with his mouse would not work and he could also use "Enter" to simulate a click.
When we changed his monitor to another one, he could click in the main menu again.
Do you also have a special monitor or another input device (pen / another mouse) like this?
In game however, he could shoot and play normally without having to bind anything. It was only in the menus that this bug occured.
Sadly because the drivers of his monitor and pen are not made by us and the click detection is done by the engine we use, we have no code we can access to fix this bug.
For the preferred controller: "Keyboard" should have been named "Keyboard + Mouse".
Thanks for letting us know about this issue, our apologies for the inconvenience.
When I got into the game itself, I still had to use the keyboard to attack, but the in-game cursor detected the hover over (like in the Main Menu), so it would still control the aim/direction of the character. However, there was still no firing/attacking when left-clicking. So I had to swap between holding the mouse to aim and pressing a keyboard key to fire/attack.
I guess I could've tried something like using Logitech's drivers to turn the mouse keys into keyboard keys using the macro editor to see if that would work, but I didn't think of that before the return processed.
I have this happend to me as well I can only press enter and can't left mouse click in options also in game shooting and all work fine so it only in options menu
The mouse click is not working in any of the menus.
I wish I read this thread earlier. Wanted to get gg&c2 for a while. Now I have it, but it is unplayable due to this mouse issue.
Since no fix since 2018 I'm afraid this is another game that will be buried somewhere in my library :(
Anyway, feel free to reply if this ever gets fixed.
