good and correct, gaspard is the most irritating character in the franchise. People like him are half the reason voice chat always needs a ban function.

His voice is grating. and almost quite literally serves no purpose. He sells things in the shop which any in game npc can do.

I like Gaspard. He is really kind and friendly.

His voice is funny to me especially when he whines "Haseoooo" I just want to protect him.

Idk about you, but my friends group always gets stuck with some sort of tagalong that annoys the ♥♥♥♥ out of us, but somehow still gets us to love `em and hang out with `em. It's been like that for me for the 17 years I've been online gaming. I think they did a good job designing Gaspard to be "that guy".

"that guy" is not someone you love. "That guy" is someone who wears you down to a point where you just "tolerate" them. Nothing more, and nothing less.

I did hate him at first but the moment someone messes with him I'll defend him.

Gaspard is probably the sole reason most PK'ers started PKing.

His archetype is certainly not something I care about at all, but I don't really hate the character for it. Just not a personality that I, and many others, mesh with. It really is a case of it being a 'you issue' rather than the characterization.
