Couple questions about Endrance (potential spoilers)

I've only played the first game so if some of this is explained please don't spoil it, but just had some lore questions regarding Endrance, and more specifically, Mia.

1) Is Mia the same Mia from the original .hack series (the female bunny that was rampant code I think it was - or at the very least not controlled by a player character and ended up being the Macha? fight (which I still have nightmares about - all the affixes.....)), and if so did she have any relation with Endrance in R:1 or at least anything that was mentioned about some male characters? The only person I remember that Mia hung around with a lot was the mage/healer person who was super timid and clung to Mia in the original .hack, who seems nothing like what Endrance was.
2) Is Mia still Mia? What I mean by that is assuming it is the same person/phenomena as in the original .hack series, is it of the same mind, or simply something that AIDA took advantage of? For that matter, is Mia actively using AIDA or was it there just for Endrance?
3) If it truly was AIDA, and based on the scene where you're with Pi and AIDA seems to be a conscious entity that takes control of/reprograms its host, why did Endrace (and thereby AIDA) never kill/comatose anyone in the arena fights? It doesn't make any sense for him to use avatar and release AIDA yet for nothing to happen..... though this might be explained later.

Thanks for any and all info on this topic. Again if this is explained directly through the plot later please don't spoil it, just hoping to find ties to the original .hack which I still love to this day (way more than G.U. personally, but I got enveloped in the story and loved learning about Aura and just loved the characters).

1. Mia from the original .hack series titled .hack//Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, Quarantine (which I will be referencing as IMOQ from now on) is a Cat-based character, not a bunny. The "Mia" from .hack//G.U. Rebirth (and never shown again) is *NOT* the same Mia from .hack//IMOQ, this as shown at the end of the arena battle with Endrance was actually AIDA disquised as what Endrance's heart desired. Also this Endrance was Elk, the mage/healer person you spoke of from .hack//IMOQ. Hence the connection the two share.

2. Something AIDA took advantage of. As you witness the other characters possessed by AIDA, all of their desires are drawn out by AIDA.

3. Far as we see Endrance never uses "data drain" during the Arena fights, he just uses his Avatar to attack them. Much like how Haseo used his avatar Skeith's scythe to attack Alkaid and she made out just fine. Except for Boreduex who was comatosed and awoke in the same day. As evident in the in-game real-world news.

My bad on the bunny thing - just remembered the ears xD. Thanks for the info. Seems super weird that Endrance is the same person (their voices are nothing alike from my recollection..... how long after the original .hack is this?). Figured on most of this unless their was some deeper meaning, which apparently there's not, which is kinda disappointing honestly but makes a lot more sense this way I guess. Thanks for the info.

There's a lot of parallels like that, though: Yata's the same player as Wiseman, Haseo is Sora after he took a serious case of amnesia to the head, and anyone named Piros can ♥♥♥♥ directly off until the end of the world.
